It’s Your Own Time You’re Wasting is an award-winning 50-minute sketch comedy show created by The Leeds Tealights. It ran for the full month at the Edinburgh Fringe 2024, selling out performances, earning 5-star reviews, and winning the Derek Award for Best Sketch Show.

Set loosely within a chaotic school detention, the show featured a whirlwind of sharp, surreal, and fast-paced sketches built around a cast of eccentric teacher archetypes. Material from the show also led the troupe to victory in the 2024 Sketch Off.
